Eligibility & suitable equipment
Operators are expected to hold the correct licence entitlement, applicable permissions and insurance for their work, including relevant cover for customer vehicles. Their vehicle and equipment must be roadworthy, correctly maintained, legally compliant and suitable for the load and task.
Operators must provide requested evidence and tell Velocity promptly if their licence, insurance, vehicle or eligibility changes. Documentary checks do not replace the operator's continuing duty to comply. Customers should tell us about unusual weight, dimensions, damage or access so we can confirm a suitable arrangement.
Safe work & professional conduct
- Assess the actual risks before loading and use an appropriate recovery and securing method.
- Follow road-authority, site and emergency-service instructions.
- Carry passengers only where agreed and lawful seating is available.
- Treat customers and their property respectfully and communicate material delays or difficulties.
- Refer changes and additional charges to Velocity for agreement; do not demand unapproved supplements.
- Protect customer information and use it only for the authorised work.
Unsafe or unlawful work must not proceed merely to meet an ETA or avoid a delay.
Collection, delivery & accountability
Relevant condition photographs and collection/delivery records support safe handover and a fair investigation if an issue arises. Operators should report damage, incidents or service failures promptly and cooperate with reasonable enquiries.
Velocity may use its own team and independent subcontractors. The attendance of a subcontractor does not remove the customer's rights under the booking terms. These published standards do not create an employment contract or guarantee a particular operator.
Tell us about a concern
Raise an immediate operational concern with our team during the booking. Send a formal complaint and any available evidence to contact@velocitystudios.uk. Our complaints page explains how we investigate.
