Van recovery
Everything to know before booking, with your service details and common questions together.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
A broken-down work van may be carrying tools, materials or deliveries as well as the vehicle itself. Tell us the van type, estimated load and destination so the team can check suitable recovery capacity. Long-wheelbase and high-roof vans need particular attention to dimensions and access.
Share the plated weight where known and explain what the van is carrying. Recovery suitability depends on the loaded vehicle, not simply the model name. Tell us about roof racks, body conversions, trailers or other equipment that changes its dimensions or weight.
For a planned move between a depot, garage or another site, give us the collection window and receiving hours. Include key collection details and any site restrictions. If you need more than one vehicle moved, describe each one so availability and pricing can be checked separately.
BUILT AROUND THE VAN
Length, height, plated weight, load and access can all change the recovery plan, so they are checked before suitable availability is confirmed.
For vans that have broken down, lost drive or cannot continue the journey safely.
01Dimensions and plated weight are checked before recovery equipment is matched.
02Wheel, steering and braking condition help identify loading risks in advance.
03Direct transport to a garage, depot or destination with the route confirmed first.
